2019 Budget 

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,

           

It is time for all Ministry Chairpersons to submit their 2019 Budget Requests.  We are asking that you submit the following documents on Wednesday, August 15, 2018:

 

DOCUMENTS:

 

  1. 2019 Ministry Action Plan (MAP) & Budget Request Form  Click Here

 

   2. MGMBC Budget Justification & Detailed Budget Form  Click Here

**PLEASE NOTE: A Budget Justification and Detailed Budget Form must be prepared for EACH ministry event.

 

   3. After Action Report for each event that was held in 2018.

 

GUIDELINES

 

  1. REQUISITIONS:  All requisitions MUST be completely and properly filled out.  If you are not sure as to what information is required in specific areas on the requisition, feel free to contact the Budget/Finance Chairman (Trustee Betty Pierce) or the Church Treasurer, Trustee Cynthia E. Duhe`- Harris).  Requisitions must be turned in at least 2 weeks prior to your scheduled event.  This is necessary to ensure we have allotted time to process the requisitions and expend the necessary funding to support your event.

 

 

**PLEASE NOTE: You are not authorized to utilize personal funds to support your event.  Please be advised that if you choose to utilize your personal funds against advice offered in this letter, you will not be reimbursed by the Church.

 

 

    2. MEET WITH THE CHURCH TREASURER AND CHAIRMAN OF THE BUDGET/FINANCE MINISTRY:  Please ensure you meet with the Church Treasurer and Chairman of the Budget/Finance Ministry at least 30 days prior to your scheduled event. This will give you an opportunity to ask any questions you have concerning funding for your event, verify your ministry account for available funds and verify needed documentation to submit requisitions, etc.

 

    3.DEADLINE FOR TURNING IN FUNDS TO CHURCH TREASURER:  It is imperative that you adhere to established deadlines for collecting and turning in funds. All funds must be turned in to the Church Treasurer at the time of collection and all funds collected must be turned in at least 2 weeks prior to your scheduled event.  If you are having difficulty collecting final monies contact the Budget & Finance Ministry Chairman and Church Treasurer for advice on the best way to move forward with your event.

 

            **PLEASE NOTE: Four weeks prior to your event the following must be completed and turned in:

 

  1. Guaranteed attendance.

  2. All requisitions must be completed (to include W-9 and Guest Speakers).

  3. You have collected and turned in all funds for your event.

  4. All payments for food, service, etc. have been made.

 

 

      4.   GUEST SPEAKERS/ PRESENTERS:  To ensure your guest speakers/ workshop presenters are  paid in a timely manner, certain information must be maintained with the Treasurer to satisfy IRS requirements.  Please provide, along with your requisition, the required information: see attached (W-9) form.

 

 

            **PLEASE NOTE:  Guest speakers may receive up to $300.00.  Please prepare your requisition   excluding the amount of the guest speaker. The Pastor will complete that portion of the  requisition.
